Joanna Ho 為註冊音樂治療師（Registered Music Therapist），現於幼稚園、中小學、特殊學校、社福機構、長者日間護理中心及醫療機構提供個別及小組音樂治療服務。服務對象涵蓋不同年齡及背景的人士，包括幼兒、特殊教育需要（SEN）兒童及青少年（包括自閉症譜系障礙、輕度至嚴重智障、視障、肢體障礙及多重障礙人士）、受情緒、壓力或創傷困擾的成人、認知障礙長者，以及照顧者。

Joanna 致力因應每位參與者的能力、需要及當下狀態，提供個人化的音樂治療服務，透過音樂促進情緒表達、溝通互動、社交參與及整體福祉。

除了臨床工作外，Joanna 曾主領不同音樂治療小組、工作坊、講座及培訓，主題包括情緒健康、放鬆減壓、自我探索、團隊建立、照顧者支援及音樂治療分享。

她亦擁有多年音樂教育經驗，並曾於電視台新聞部擔任新聞專題節目記者及編導，曾主持時事及財經資訊節目；現時亦持續參與公共事務及政策相關媒體製作工作。

About Joanna

Joanna Ho is a Registered Music Therapist (RMT) providing individual and group music therapy services across kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, special schools, social service organisations, day care centres for older adults, and healthcare settings. She works with people across the lifespan, including young children, children and adolescents with Special Educational Needs (SEN)—such as individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), mild to severe intellectual disabilities, visual impairment, physical disabilities, and multiple disabilities—as well as adults experiencing emotional challenges, stress or trauma, older adults living with dementia, and caregivers.

Joanna provides person-centred music therapy tailored to each individual's abilities, needs, and present experiences. Through music, she supports emotional expression, communication, social interaction, and overall wellbeing.

In addition to her clinical practice, Joanna has facilitated music therapy groups, workshops, talks, and training sessions on topics including emotional wellbeing, stress management, self-exploration, team building, caregiver support, and music therapy.

She also has extensive experience in music education. Prior to her current clinical practice, Joanna worked in television journalism as a reporter and producer for current affairs programmes, and also hosted news and business programmes. She continues to contribute to public affairs and policy-related media productions.
